We understand that plans change. This policy explains how refund and cancellation requests are handled for Downtown Jazz Jam (DTJJ) passes purchased online. All passes are purchased digitally via our registration form.
Full passes (Early-bird, Standard, and Late) cover the full DTJJ weekend and are priced at £195, £215, and £235 respectively.
The Party Pass (£90) grants access to all evening social dances across the weekend.
Individual night passes (Friday £18 · Saturday £30 · Sunday £30 · Monday party £25 · Monday tasters £20 · Monday all-access £40) cover a single session or evening.
Pay-it-forward contributions are voluntary donations used to support other attendees. They are non-refundable in all circumstances.
If you received a pay-it-forward discount and subsequently cancel your registration, the full face value of your pass (before the discount) is used to determine any applicable refund.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your pass to another person rather than request a refund. Please contact us with the new attendee's details and we will update the registration.
Transfers to a different pass type are not permitted — the replacement attendee must take the same pass you originally purchased.
If DTJJ cancels the event for any reason, you will be offered a full refund of the amount you paid (excluding the Stripe processing fee), or the option to transfer your registration to a future DTJJ event where applicable.
We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred in connection with your attendance.
If you would like to upgrade your pass (for example, from a Party Pass to a Full Pass), please contact us. Upgrades are subject to availability and you will be charged the difference in price. Downgrades are treated as a cancellation of your current pass and a new purchase, and the cancellation policy above will apply.
