FAQ

How do the lessons work?

The lessons at DTJJ are open-level to encourage people to come together and break down the heirarchy that tends to happen with levelled learning. Students are encouraged to communicate if they need more of a challenge.

What do the groups mean?

The groups are simply a way for us to organise all of you lovely lot. Everybody gets the same lessons throughout the weekend. The groups will simply dictate your timetable.

Will there be a bar at the evening venue?

No. Bring your water bottle, and your own drinks. There will however be one of London's best bars at the after party...

Can I bring tap shoes?

Unfortunately not. Venue restrictions mean we're not allowed tap shoes.

Do I need specific footwear for classes/evening socials?

Only for lessons in St John's. Please bring dance shoes or dance in socks. In the other venues you can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable/awesome.

I'm arriving in London early, are there any events or meet ups happening?

Yes! There is an unofficial pre-party at Jamboree in Kings Cross on Thursday, and a community meet up 3pm - 6:30pm in Hampstead. Check our IG or the Facebook event page for more information, or the DTJJ WhatsApp group.
